David Baker

David has spent over 25 years as a C-suite executive in the healthcare industry building startups and working with existing companies to drive efficiency and profitability. He has experience with large multi-national companies, but his passion is working with smaller companies with revenues of $25-100M.

David has worked in the US, Canada, Germany, Italy, Holland, and Iceland. As a CEO, board member and board chairman, he helps companies focus on their core competencies resulting in improved customer satisfaction and higher profitability. This usually involves clearly defining the vision and mission of the company and then eliminating employee silos, process redundancy and cost inefficiencies. A key to these successes has been his hands-on approach. He works closely with teams designing and implementing FDA and ISO compliant quality systems and coordinating FDA 510(k) product submissions.

David has been directly involved in designing medical devices and led restructuring R&D initiatives across multiple facilities and countries. Additionally, his experience with internal finance and accounting teams has yielded improved financial and operational reporting for better access to identify opportunities.

David has been married for over 40 years with 3 sons, all successfully following professional careers. In his free time, he enjoys supporting a local equine assisted psychotherapy program by regularly volunteering at a barn where I am involved in building fences, welding, digging ditches and harvesting hay.
