Anne Rivers

Anne Rivers is a senior strategist, using insights on people and brands to build brands, business and communities of tomorrow. Anne is a Founding Partner of Basc Partners, an insight-led marketing consultancy that helps businesses and brands nurture growth. She was the SVP of Strategy and Marketing for The Howard Hughes Corporation, and previously, she was EVP of Strategy at PSB and Managing Director at BAV Group, using data to help strategic positioning and recommendations while developing pioneering models of brand equity and brand valuation.

Anne helps find the key insights to activate and nurture growth in companies and brands. She incorporates deep research insights and combines it with her keen understanding of the business need to help clients achieve their most important objectives. She is a steadfast and multifaceted advisor who leverages her prior experience in senior corporate strategy and marketing, advertising agency and investment banking roles to build strategic plans and lead the creative executions and activations to help build brands and businesses. Anne is a frequent contributor to The Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times, and is a regular presenter at key industry forums including the Marketing Science Institute and the Advertising Research Federation.

She holds a Masters in Business Administrations from NYU’s Stern School of Business and an AB in Economics from the University of Chicago. Anne lives in Pennsylvania and is a mother of three. Anne is a connector extraordinaire, always thinking about how the people, ideas and pieces in the world fit together and what could be a catalyst to change the direction. She is curious, thoughtful and fiercely committed to her clients and friends. She enjoys staying abreast of the innovations put forward by academics and likes to work with academics to devise ways to bring their ideas to the business world.
