A classically trained engineer (operations research) and MBA (entrepreneurship), Tom leverages his executive, operational, revenue and strategy leadership experiences to advance growth of “first-of-a-kind” solutions at start-up, early-stage and established digital ag, food recapture, loyalty/CRM, AI-enhanced retailing, SaaS and professional service enterprises.

 

He brings strategic problem solving, process-visioning and thought leadership to empower teams to exceed objectives. Tom has taken teams from zero-to-$500k; turned around division operations, converting a loss into +4.2M within 18 months; grown a mature SaaS business +47% in five years; led a multi-functional team in first-of-a-kind solution creating +$87M client profits/year; turned a failing product into a high-value solution; and re-purposed a computational platform for single farms into a digital ag solution for state-wide stakeholders across its $50B industry.

 

Professionally, Tom is passionate about for charting a path to breakout ROI through successful growth and ownership transitions. He’s especially keen on operationalizing solutions for global food insecurity, given dwindling arable land and agricultural water.

 

Personally, he’s blessed to have a wonderful partner, three grown daughters and a great life in the Sonoran Desert. Tom has turned around the alumni organization for Arizona and is Co-chair of CTBN, an innovative program networking Cornellians professionally.
