Under Dave’s leadership, NUI raised a total of $7.3 million over the last four years. Included in the total is $1.4 million in One Student Scholarship funds, which grow nearly 3 times in annual giving to $430K in 2018. In addition, the $3M+ capital campaign for the Campus Center construction was completed and the Board of Trustees was established as the primary networking and development organization in the US with over 35 members presently. At Northrise University Dave has worked with NU leadership to improve financial reporting, develop and implement a recruiting/communication campaign, help implement new software for managing the recruiting program, and various other capacity-building projects. Dave was instrumental in helping to transition the original structure of the NU Board of Regents and worked with me and our legal advisors directly in establishing the Northrise University Trust Deed, and reviewing the Northrise University Statutes. It is difficult to find the proper words to express our appreciation of the contributions of Dave Murray.
